  1. When David Wilkerson started Teen Challenge in NY back in the early 60s, it was slow going getting mainline churches and even some AOGs to support his work. But God was in it and it has transformed thousands upon thousands of lives.
When Pennsylvania drug officials complained that TC was bragging about their “cure rate or 70%”, and that was impossibly too high, the NIH funded a study and found that while government programs “boasted” a 10% “cure rate,” Teen Challenge’s actual “cure rate” was 87%!! Jesus changes lives.

  2. I was blessed to work with Teen Challenge in St. Louis for a short time while in college and reconnected through my local church to the ones in Massachusetts. Their work is so fantastic because of their reliance on the Holy Spirit to change lives, instead of self-help and focus groups. Thanx to Jesus for raising up David Wilkerson and keeping TC going after his graduation to Heaven.

    1. How blessed! Every time an addict is redeemed, a real star is born. A national prayer day is just a beginning as we build up on more stars. One day at a time and the . stars will build up. Peace!
