WHEN EVIL BECOMES GOOD AND TYRANNICAL CRIMINALS BECOME KINGS AND QUEENS… Psalms 2:2-3 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying:

“Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”

More Funding Needed To Protect Judges ?????

The attack on Kocurek is a grim reminder of the vulnerability of the American justice system, and the need for greater support and funding for judicial protection efforts.

Judges must routinely make difficult decisions. Their profession requires them to adjudicate hotly contested issues in a manner that is fair, faithful to the law and, essentially, fearless.

When criminals perpetrate violent acts against judges because of their rulings, they strike at the core of the American legal system. The threat is similar to when high school football players direct their wrath over controversial calls against game officials by using physical force.

However, when judges are the victims, the stakes are much higher. The violence threatens not the integrity of a sport but an institution that plays an essential role in American democracy.

Violence against any judge endangers not only its target but also threatens to intimidate other judicial officeholders in regard to how they perform their duties. If such violence were the norm, it would be nearly impossible to attract or retain qualified judges. It also would be unrealistic to expect judges to perform their duties bravely and independently.

Unless judges are protected from violence and other forms of retaliation, the administration of justice will collapse. This reality is well documented around the world in a multitude of countries with weak judiciaries.
